What organic bread flour do you use?

Box Bagel proudly uses 100% certified organic Central Milling High Mountain bread flour (Logan, Utah) and Natural Agriculture Wholesome Essence Turkey red wheat heirloom hard red winter wheat (grown using the Shumei Natural Agriculture method at Janie’s Farm Organics in East Central Illinois)


What is Natural Agriculture?

Products from Wholesome Essence are cultivated with energy existing within nature and without the use of any chemicals or fertilizers. Natural Agriculture relies on the inherent strength of the soil, without trying to rush the process. Some say this is beyond the standards of organic.

Do you offer catering services?

Yes, we can customize catering based on your needs. We can supply bagel boards with regular or mini sized bagels, and extras such as smoked salmon, cream cheese, pickled red onions, capers and dill. Give us a call to design your bagel board. 

What do yo boil the bagels in?

We boil our bagels in molasses water right before generously dipping them in seeds and baking them.
